All School of Music faculty members are expected to maintain a record of performances, service, and creative productivity that indicates continuing growth of national and international visibility. The applicant must work collegially with others and be committed to undergraduate education.
Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:
Teach undergraduate and graduate applied piano; teach courses in the piano degree program and others as needed by the School of Music; contribute to the development and administration of the piano area; collaborate with faculty (particularly chamber music and Center for Early Music Research and Performance (CEMRAP)) and guest artists. The successful candidate will actively recruit students and work effectively with faculty and students to build and maintain a productive relationship with regional piano guilds.
