At Gator, we are best known for guitar cases, bags and accessories. But we are so much more than that and are looking for a qualified Business Development Representative to expand our business. Our industry reach is vast, spanning from musicians, DJ’s, audio/visual, gaming to outdoor and industrial. The Gator family of brands and products includes Gator Cases, Gator Frameworks, Gator Rackworks, Levy’s, OEM and Slappa.
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for expanding Gator’s customer base, using lead generation best practices to identify prospects and initiate outreach with potential customers to convert to sales. The BDR will seek new opportunities, cultivate strong customer relationships and ensure high-quality service to internal and external customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
100% focused on hunting qualified leads and outbound sales efforts to convert targeted lead gen campaigns
Qualify leads and hand off to Sales to close or take order
Support multiple Sales divisions, finding leads for OEM, Roto, Domestic and Outdoor
Activity tied to Marketing and work in sync with outbound marketing, e.g. email, search, social and retargeting
High-velocity outbound expectations with deliverables of 50+ calls and 100 customer touches per day, using lead gen tactics such as predetermined sales engagement sequences
Present Gator brand and products to potential clients
Analyze customer data and identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Build long-term trusting relationships with customers and increase customer satisfaction
Proactively seek new business opportunities in existing and new markets
Prepare and report on sales results to VP, Marketing & Business Development, and leadership
Stay up-to-date with new products and trends
Requirements – Candidates Must Have:
Minimum of 2 years proven work experience as a BDR, Sales Account Executive or similar role
Working knowledge and experience of software and tools:
