St. John’s School is seeking a full-time Music teacher for the 2021-22 academic year. The successful candidate must enjoy working primarily with early elementary (K-2) and have a minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience. Candidates must have a B.A. in Music/Music Education, Kodály Certification (Levels I and II preferred), a background in a singing-based curriculum, an ability to play piano for rehearsal purposes, and experience with choral direction and theatre production. Lower School music teachers work closely with grade-level teams and fine arts teachers to deliver an enriched learning experience.
