The Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School is looking for a technical director/set designer for its high school and middle school theatrical productions. The technical director is a part-time position that includes a $2,500 stipend. The technical director will: Design and construct the set for the high school and middle school musicals. The set for the high school musical may be repurposed for the middle school musical. Collaborate with the artistic director and lighting director in the design process Attend all tech rehearsals and the invited dress rehearsal as needed Troubleshoot problems with the set, especially during tech week and the run of the show Load in necessary materials, and strike and store the elements of the set followi
