Stonehill College is looking for a one-semester adjunct for a sabbatical replacement in music technology. The successful candidate will teach two courses. Creating Music with Technology is a theory fundamentals course where all the coursework is completed in Finale (or MuseScore) and Logic Pro. Introduction to Music Technology is a course in which students learn how to create songs in Logic Pro. Students also learn about the history of popular music in the United States from the perspective of production. The successful candidate will be expected to focus coursework for both courses on popular music (rock and roll, pop, hip-hop, etc.). Master’s degree required. Experience teaching music technology, multi-channel recording, and songwriting are desirable. A doctorate (or ABD) is desirable. Review of candidates to start March 13th.

Education & Experience

A Master’s degree is required, a doctorate is preferred. Ability to teach all levels of students. Ability to teach music theory and music technology.
