Brewster Academy is seeking a part-time dance instructor to teach dance classes as part of our co-curricular program in the afternoons. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years experience teaching dance to high school students, enthusiasm for working with adolescents, experience with choreographing performances, and possibly with musical theater production.
Responsibilities include teaching and training a dynamic group of students in a range of techniques and dance styles during afternoon dance classes, overseeing the school’s dance team, choreographing dance performances, and assisting with choreographing for the school’s musical productions. Provide opportunities for students to showcase their talents at school coffee houses, All Schools, and other community events.
