The Department of Music & Musical Theatre and the Department of Theatre & Dance at SUNY Geneseo are seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Stage Directing, beginning August 2023. The successful candidate would possess expertise in Acting and Directing for Musical Theatre and Theatre. The departments offer B.A. programs in Musical Theatre and Theatre, a Bachelor of Professional Studies (B.P.S.) degree in Musical Theatre, as well as a minor in Dance. In addition to instruction, all department faculty members are expected to engage in service to the college, to be productive as artists/scholars, and to promote an inclusive workplace and learning environment.
