Description:
Reporting to the Assistant Provost and Executive Director and the Director of the Reading, Writing, Learning Clinic, the Senior Accounts Specialist performs a full range of secretarial duties for the Salzman Community Service Center and the Reading, Writing, Learning Clinic.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supports the Salzman Center and the Literacy Studies Clinic with their enrollment, scheduling, and financial needs.
Processes daily credit card deposits and weekly cash/check deposits.
Assists with maintaining credit card machines, ordering supplies, and running credit card reports as needed.
Organizes and validates all credit card purchases for the Center Directors.
Assists the Clinic Director with billing and payments for services, mass mailings for enrollment and confirming client appointments.
Assists with the processing of literacy specialists' appointments, completing hiring forms and sending to the Dean.
Assists with the hiring, training, and supervision of student aides for the Reading/Writing/Learning Clinic.
Enters work orders and IT requests.
Assists with front desk coverage as needed.
May perform other duties not specifically identified above, but which require the same degree of skills, and which are normally included within the above job title.
Hours: Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.

Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.
Ability to interact professionally with the public to explain the services offered by the Center and to accept payments as needed.
Proficiency in or ability to learn QuickBooks.
