The Department of Music at UMBC seeks a Visiting Lecturer of Piano Performance. The position is 0.75 FTE (¾ time) with full benefits for the 2023-2024 academic year, to begin August 2023. This individual will be responsible for teaching major and nonmajor pianists and a studio class, with additional teaching responsibilities in piano pedagogy, chamber music coaching, and performing with the faculty ensemble RUCKUS.  Additional duties can include other departmental instruction, service, or responsibilities in the candidate's area of expertise to add up to a teaching load of the equivalent to 6 courses per year.   Applicants who demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion by way of teaching, performing, publishing, or volunteer experiences are urged to submit an application.
